1964 GTO LeMans Tempest Rear License Plate Light This listing is for one rear license plate light that is correct for the 1964 (1963 marked lens) Pontiac GTO, LeMans and Tempest. Other dealers list the 1964-72 Lights as the same, but that is not true. The 1964 uses a completely different housing and lens. There were three housings used interchangeably from 1965-72, the only difference is the the position of or lack of the small tab on the edge of the housing. As far as the lens goes, the 1965 lens was used though mid year 1968. Late 1968 cars up to 1972 use the 1968 marked lens. Please look at all the images and do your own research to make sure that this item will fit your particular application before purchasing. This light is in great condition.
